Jang Yoonsung

Has served as chief or artistic director of the Ulsan, Changwon and Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestras, presenting repertoire from late Romanticism to contemporary music. He gave the Korean premiere of Schoenberg's monumental Gurre-Lieder (2004) and was active in Japan as principal conductor of the opera house orchestra at Osaka College of Music. He is currently professor of conducting at Seoul National University College of Music.
